Impact Training

Safety Net, part of Impact Initiatives, deliver a range of excellent and cost effective training courses for organisations, schools, professionals and volunteers working with children and young people.

Safety Net’s training has merged with Impact Initiatives which enables us to deliver a more diverse range of training courses. Our current training ranges from introductory courses for those with no prior knowledge, to specialist sessions for managers and experienced workers wishing to enhance their skills. Current courses include Safeguarding, Online Safety, Mindfulness, Resilience and Protective Behaviours.

We have been providing training, guidance, and advice for over 27 years. Our training can be delivered face to face or virtually and we continually develop our range of training to ensure it is relevant and engaging. All the courses are delivered by trainers who are experts in their field so that the content and discussions are well informed and relevant to those that attend.

This course has reignited my enthusiasm for safeguarding and its’ policies and procedures. Mostly because the course was taught in a clear and easy to understand way, so not daunting, despite the topic and content.

Meet Zoe

Zoe has managed the training service at Impact – Safety Net for 18 months and has over 30 year’s experience of working within CVS and the children’s sector. She has a specialism in supporting children and young people with disabilities in a variety of services and brings this expertise to the training course content and delivery.
