The Henfield Haven, a community space and cafe for people aged 55+ is having an information and open day on Thursday 7th January, 11am – 3pm.
Anybody is welcome to take a look around the Haven, which offers a range of support and planned activities for people with dementia.
There will be information stalls from visiting organisations, including Carers Support, Action for Deafness, Dementia Action Alliance and 4Sight, as well as a library book-borrowing service, arts & crafts, and taster sessions to showcase the range of activities that are on offer.
The cafe will be open all day and offering a range of cakes, lunches, tea and coffee.
The Henfield Haven is the first of its kind in Henfield, opening five days a week and offering a number of different activities, classes, and trips for people who live in the local community.
