Two weeks of eclectic celebrations and events for people aged 50+.
International Older People’s Day is October 1st. To celebrate this year we will be bringing the first Brighton and Hove Older People’s Festival. This will build on the success of previous years events in celebrating the contributions and achievements of older people in our City. The Festival will run from 26th September to 7th October 2016 and will provide a wide range of events across the City for people aged 50+ to enjoy and get involved in.
We are thrilled to be working with previous and new partners to produce the Festival and have a series of exciting events already planned and more in the pipeline. These are all based on this year’s international themes which are; Full of Life; full of adventure, full of memories, full of relaxation, full of industry, full of it!
The Festival will be widely promoted both on line and in a Festival Brochure which will be distributed from the beginning of September.
