Live Zoom
This online training is taking place on 4th March, 2025. It will take place Live over Zoom. The duration of the course is 6 hours including a lunch break and other short breaks.
This course is for those acting as Safeguarding Lead in their organisation or setting. Some prior knowledge of safeguarding is essential. If you do not have this we would recommend attending our Introduction to Safeguarding Adults at Risk course first.

The course will help you:
- Understand your role and responsibilities
- Explore related policies and procedures
- Create a safeguarding culture
- Make appropriate referral decisions
- Understand key issues around record keeping, sharing information and confidentiality
- Put together a safeguarding action plan for your role and organisation
- Be updated on the background information about the law and protecting adults at risk
- Improve support networks
Our training sessions are designed to deliver maximum value through live interaction, discussion, and engagement. Please note that the slide deck is a supporting tool for the session and will not be shared afterward. However, participants will have access to our resource portal, which includes additional materials and tools to support their learning. We also encourage participants to take notes during the session and are available to answer any follow-up questions.
If you have any questions please contact the training team on 01273 420973 or email training@impact-initiatives.org.uk.
