A community space and café open seven days a week. The Hop 50+ offers a range of activities and social opportunities for people aged 50+, aimed at supporting customers to improve their health and wellbeing, to learn new skills and where people can enjoy good food and company.

About the Hop50+ – The Hop50+ is open seven days a week. People can create their own experience by browsing through the monthly programme and choosing from a menu of group sessions, trips, health and wellbeing related activities and learning and social opportunities.

Befriending scheme – Volunteers are available to visit people who feel socially isolated or who may need some friendly support in order to get out and about in the community.

Trips – A range of minibus trips to various places of interest run each week and are open to anyone aged 50+

Community based groups – Groups include healthy walks, gentle exercise, yoga and line dancing. These take place each week in halls and community centres: all welcome new members and are run by qualified and insured tutors.

The Centre Café – The café is open seven days a week and anyone aged 50+ is welcome to visit – maybe for a cup of fresh coffee and a chat, or to take part in activities with friendly company and a homemade lunch.

Impact Initiatives relies our fantastic team of 120 volunteers without whom we wouldn’t be able to provide many of our services. We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities. View more
